Children: Infants Through 5th Grade
Sunday School
Each week year-round, children from infants through 5th grade are taught biblical principles in a fun and engaging environment. The gospel is central to our lessons as our children study how Jesus Christ is central to the message of the Bible and life. Sunday School groups meet each Sunday at 9:45 am.
KidStyle
KidStyle Worship is for Children K-5 through 5th grade. The children dismiss from the main worship service at the offering time and are led by their leaders to a classroom down the hall in our education wing where they participate in an engaging worship experience.
TeamKID
On Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, our children participate in TeamKID. TeamKID is a discipleship program designed to help children learn about the Bible and the principles of the Christian faith. Children learn about missions, participate in Bible lessons, and have a great time together. The program runs from September to May and is available to children aged three through fifth grade.
Students: 6th Through 12th Grade
Sunday School
On Sunday mornings, we have Sunday School at 9:45 am. We currently have classes for middle and high school, as well as college and career.
Expository Bible Study
In HBC’s Student Ministry, our goal on Sunday and Wednesday evenings is to help students deepen their understanding of God’s Word and grow closer to the Lord. We believe the books of the Bible should be studied in their entirety, so our Bible study sessions focus on exploring whole books, one section at a time.
On Sunday evenings during the school year, we meet at 5:00 PM. During this time, we study a book of the Bible and break into small groups for deeper discussions on how it applies to our daily lives.
On Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, we take a more casual approach, reading and studying a book of the Bible chapter by chapter. In a large-group setting, we share observations, ask questions, and grow together in our faith.
Outings and Activities
HBC Student Ministry actively hosts or attends youth-focused outings and events at least every other month. Additionally, each summer, students participate in a weeklong camp, a dedicated time to reflect on God’s creation and dive deeper into His Word. We look forward to Summer Camp as a special opportunity for fellowship and unity among our students.
